This product is the dried roots and rhizomes of Gentiana manshurica Kitag., Gentiana scabra Bge., Gentiana Triflora pall or Gentiana rigescens Franch. Gentian has the functions of cholagogic, anti-inflammatory, stomach tonic and antihypertensive. Gentiopicroside is the main active component in Gentiana scabra.
Function
1.Anti inflammatory and analgesic effects.
2.Hepatoprotective and cholagogic effects.

4.Other It has been reported that gentiopicroside has a certain inhibitory effect on human lung adenocarcinoma cell line A549 in vitro. Gentian has different degrees of inhibition on Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Proteus.
